For all you lycra clad cyclists out there, did you know it is an offence to ride a bicycle furiously? And no… it’s not simply riding a bicycle with an angry face.

Whilst rare, these offences are usually committed where the rider is weaving in and out of traffic or being a danger to other road users.

Any cyclist who rides a bicycle negligently, furiously or recklessly is liable to a maximum penalty of $2,200!
